Dr. Mendy Engler

Audiologist

Mendy Engler, AuD has over 20 years experience in the field of Audiology working with both adults and children but primarily specializing in pediatric care until she shifted to adult focused private practice in 2020.  She primarily worked in hospital settings providing an array of diagnostic, hearing aid, bone conduction, and cochlear implant services for inpatient, outpatient, multidisciplinary and otolaryngology clinics. More recently she has focused on hearing and cognitive health, becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2023.

Dr. Engler grew up in Dallas, TX, but has lived and worked in San Antonio, Austin, Boston, and in the United Kingdom. She also has experience working in school settings having worked for Sunshine Cottage School for the Deaf in San Antonio, TX.

Her passion is facilitating access to communication for patients and their families to open the door to the best quality of life possible for each person.

In her spare time, she spends time with her son and traveling any chance she gets.
