Dr. Natalie Rooker received her Doctorate degree in Audiology, as well as her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas. During her time in her undergraduate studies, she really enjoyed learning about the anatomy and physiology of the ear. She was fascinated with the science of hearing which is what let her to pursue her Doctorate degree in Audiology.
Throughout her externship experience with the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Natalie received significant training in fitting hearing aids from several manufacturers, tinnitus counseling, aural rehabilitation, cochlear implants, and vestibular audiology. She has taken a keen interest in specifically aural rehabilitation and hearing aid technology.
During her free time Natalie enjoys being outdoors either camping, hiking, rock climbing, or walking her dog. She also volunteers weekly as a tutor and loves spending time with her students! We are so ecstatic to have Natalie join our family here at Cook Hearing and Balance, and we hope you all welcome her into yours.
