Dr. Elizabeth Sperino
Owner/Audiologist
Dr. Sperino received her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Lamar University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Texas State University. During her externship with Houston Ear, Nose, Throat, & Allergy, Dr. Sperino worked with pediatric and adult patients providing a variety of hearing and vestibular healthcare services.
Dr. Sperino's dedication to providing exceptional patient care is as much personally fulfilling to her as it is professionally. Her mother has Meniere's disease, which causes tinnitus, vertigo, aural fullness, and fluctuating hearing loss. This gives Dr. Sperino a unique perspective of the difficulties that hearing loss and vestibular disorders can bring. Her professional interests include hearing rehabilitation, tinnitus management, hearing conservation, and vestibular disorders.
Dr. Sperino is very family-oriented, enjoying bike rides and other outdoor activities with her husband and two daughters. Although she has lived all across Texas, she is most excited to join our team helping patients in the beautiful Cedar Park area. Cook Hearing and Balance is happy to bring her aboard to join our family, and we hope that you all welcome her into yours!
